In the south-west of the island, beyond Panagia and opposite the Cape Tainaron, lies a small island called Agliftis. Opposite the islet is the homonymous beach, which is the only beach on the island that has pebbles. Access is mainly by boat and is therefore a "hidden secret". Alternatively, you can follow a rough road from Avlaki to Panagia that leads to Aglifti, the inaccessible and full of secrets island that hosts the chapel of Saint Patapios. An old road network that starts from the shore of Agliftis and fades into the sea, marks the great historical value of this place.
