To the east of Pounta, after Pavlopetri, is Chamokylo. Characteristic of the beach is its proximity to Stroggyli Lake, the wetland of the Municipality of Elafonisos. The beach stretches to the border that separates the Elafonisos from the neighboring area. It is a thin strip of 1700 meters long and 40 meters wide, which from the south is washed by the lake and north of the sea. It is a beautiful spot of particular ecological interest.
